GMC Srinagar condoles Demise of Kajal Devi - A first-phase MBBS student .

The Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar is deeply saddened to announce the untimely demise of Kajal Devi, daughter of Behari Lal, a resident of Shaleen Kasti, Garh Doda. A first-phase MBBS student from the Batch of 2024, Kajal was known for her hard work, kindness, and commitment to the medical profession.

Her sudden passing has left her family, friends, and the entire medical fraternity in profound grief and shock. The loss of such a promising student is an irreparable tragedy for all who knew her.

To honor her memory, a condolence meeting was held at GMC Srinagar, where I/c Principal Prof. (Dr.) Showkat Ahmad Kadla expressed his deepest sympathies to the bereaved family. He described Kajal as a bright, hardworking student with a promising future in medicine.

Principal/Dean also expressed deep sorrow,

"This is an eternal loss that is truly unbearable. The passing of such a young and talented student is a tragedy that deeply affects us all."

As a mark of respect, a two-minute silence was observed in memory of Kajal Devi.

The medical community and fellow students remember her as a kind and ambitious individual, always willing to help others. Her absence will be deeply felt by her peers, professors, and all who knew her.
