Greetings on behalf of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.         Govt. L.D. Hospital, established in the year 1980, is functioning from the last 43 years and is treating women from the basic problems to the most challenging and complicated emergencies of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. This Hospital is the lone referral hospital for the whole valley. We are providing range of services including maternal health care, high risk pregnancy care, Gynaecological Services, Family Planning services, Gynae Oncology, Adolescent & Geriatric health care, Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy with utmost professional credibility.              Recently IUI services have been started. IVF centre is also in pipeline and already various communiqués have been sent to the concerned authorities. We have also started incorporating fetal medicine facility in the Department. Each day we strive to do better to serve our womenfolk as women of whole valley and even parts of Jammu Division and Ladakh UT have faith in us. We feel proud to say that our results are as good as any of the best hospitals of India.
