Achievements(2023-24)

Major Departmental Achievements and Initiatives :-

• This year LD Hospital is LAQSHYA accredited at national level.

• This year, we increased our inductions to 30 postgraduate students for MD Course.

• Our Department is recognized for PGDMCH under IGNOU and BEMOC training of field Medical Officers are held regularly.

• We also conduct quarterly training in Comprehensive Abortion Care for Gynaecologist of whole valley.

Major Treatment Initiatives :-

• Started IUI facility for infertile patients this year.

• Minimal Access laparoscopic and Hysteroscopic surgeries were done regularly

 ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS FOR THE YEAR 2023:-

• We regularly conduct Many Conferences & Workshops at State Level and National Level for Continued Medical Education like:- One day National Conference on the topic of “Insights into Infertility and Unborn”

     - Two days hands on Workshop on “Obstetrics Ultrasound Colour Doppler”

    - Two days National Conference on the Topic of “Emerging Challenges in Obstetrics and Gynaecology”

• Organised “Basic Life Support Training” and “Neonatal Resuscitation Programme” for Postgraduate Scholars of this Department..

• FOGSI Achiever’s Award given to Prof. Rizwana Habib and Prof. Samia Mufti for outstanding contribution in field of obstetrics and gynaecology and dedication towards women’s health
