The Department looks over the functioning of the Immunization Clinic where immunization services are provided to children as per the National Immunization Schedule. COVID-19 vaccines are also administered in the clinic.  The Department is also in-charge of the Anti-Rabies Clinic where the victims are provided with vaccine and immunoglobulin free of cost. The Department is the only provider of Yellow Fever vaccination in the entire Union Territory. Additionally, the Department will soon be providing adult immunization facilities as well. The Family Welfare Clinic provides OPD services, ANC services, Family Planning services, NCD screening and management. Field visits are also carried out for door-to- door surveys.Trials/Surveys- The Department has been a keen and active participant in various vaccine trials and health and demographic surveys in collaboration with agencies such as the World Health Organization and NIH.Public Health Lab – The departmental Public Health Lab boasts of a wide array of updated and latest paraphernalia including instruments, equipment, reagents and models that are pivotal for UG and PG teaching, research and service delivery.  Public Health Lab – The departmental Public Health Lab boasts of a wide array of updated and latest paraphernalia including instruments, equipment, reagents and models that are pivotal for UG and PG teaching, research and service delivery.
